I decided that I would try to get my Christmas baking done today. I started at 8 am and finished around 5 pm. While baking, I wrapped all the presents I had. I am exhausted now but it was a great day. I enjoyed the music and the baking. I made 8 loaves of nisu ( a Finnish yeast bread made with cardamom), 4 dozen ricotta cheese cookies (my favorite!), 3 dozen crunchy crumbles (cookies with rice krispies, walnuts and chocolate chips), chocolate pecan bars, 3 dozen walnut coolies and a pan of rice krispie treats.
It's not Christmas if you don't have baked goods and Christmas music!
