A Tough Puzzle

Right after Thanksgiving, I bought a jigsaw puzzle for the holidays. I find them challenging and fun and wanted one with a winter theme. I bought one that was 1500 pieces, with lots of color and detail. Little did I know that it would consume me until today!
The pieces were all irregular and overlapping. With all of the color and patterns it was incredibly difficult to get this puzzle moving. In fact, it was not unusual to sit for an hour without finding one piece!

Here is the puzzle as Christmas approached.

Here is the final, completed puzzle!

The next time I try 1500 pieces again, shoot me! Oh, wait a minute . . . I have a puzzle of fireworks that a friend is lending to me, and I have another puzzle of gnomes living it up on the forest floor. I guess I am still working on those puzzles. The only thing that makes a puzzle better is someone to work on it with, so if you are around just stop by!
